Organic Sourdough Delivery in Orlando
Share
Looking for real organic sourdough in Orlando? Every Thursday we deliver fresh organic sourdough from our family bakery in Longwood to homes across the Orlando area. I'm Bas. I grew up in the Netherlands and worked as an executive chef before I left that job to bake full time, and my wife Catalina and our son Nathaniel bake with me. Here's how to get our bread in Orlando.
Which Orlando zip codes we deliver to
Our Thursday local delivery covers 36 zip codes in Seminole, Orange and Lake counties. In Orlando, that's these six:
- 32803
- 32804
- 32810
- 32814
- 32817
- 32825
We also deliver to nearby Winter Park, Maitland, Altamonte Springs, Casselberry, Apopka and more. The full list by city is on our Orlando-area delivery page.
How Thursday delivery works
Local delivery is ordered on Hotplate. Pick the Thursday Sourdough Bread Drop, place your order before the cutoff shown there, and Hotplate confirms your address when you check out. Orders of $20 or more have no delivery fee. You can see this week's drop and its cutoff on our Local & markets page.
Your bread is baked fresh for that delivery. Keep it at room temperature for the first 1–2 days, then slice and freeze what's left. A frozen slice goes straight into the toaster. I wrote more about that in how to freeze and store sourdough bread.
What to order
Every loaf starts with organic flour. Our classic dough is organic wheat flour, water, our sourdough starter and salt, fermented slowly for a crisp crust, an open crumb and a real tang. We chose organic flour because it's better food for everybody, and because it's much better for Catalina, who has Hashimoto. You can read her story here.
A few loaves Orlando customers can start with:
- Our Signature Sourdough, the classic loaf, $10.
- Sliced Classic Sourdough, the same loaf pre-sliced and ready for the freezer, $10.
- Multigrain Sourdough (Super 7 Seed Mix), with sunflower, pumpkin, flax, chia and hemp seeds, $12.
- Garlic Parmesan, Olive and Jalapeño Cheddar for savory dinners and sandwiches.
- Cranberry Walnut, great with cheese or toasted.
Don't skip the scones. Our sourdough scones come in sets of four, like Blueberry Lemon and Cranberry Orange. And for a taste of the Netherlands, grab a pack of caramel stroopwafels and warm one over your coffee.
Pick up at the Winter Park Farmers Market
If Saturday works better than Thursday, come see us at the Winter Park Farmers Market, 150 North New York Avenue, from 8 AM to 1 PM. It's a short drive for most of Orlando. Our debut there sold out by 11:30, so I always recommend you preorder on Hotplate for market pickup. That way your bread is waiting for you at our booth.
We're also at the Port Orange Farmers Market at the Pavilion on Saturdays, 9 AM to 1 PM, and the Mount Dora Village Farmers Market on Sundays, 9 AM to 2 PM.
Not on the list? We ship across Florida
If your Orlando zip code isn't one of the six above, we can still get bread to you. Order on this website by Wednesday noon. We bake Thursday morning, ship that afternoon, and it's at your door Friday. Shipping is $8, or free at $50 or more. The Sourdough Free-Shipping Box gets you three loaves and four scones for $50 with free shipping. More on our Florida shipping page.
Our Longwood bakery is coming
We're opening our first storefront at 851 E SR 434, Suite 130, Longwood, FL 32750, hoping for mid-November 2026. It'll be open Thursday to Sunday, 8 AM to 2 PM, with bread baked fresh every morning, drip coffee and a toast bar. It's an easy trip up from Orlando. Follow along on our Longwood bakery page.
