I am Bas, and with my wife Catalina and our son Nathaniel we bake at The Little Dutch Bakery in Longwood. Every Thursday we deliver fresh loaves into both cities—and across 36 zip codes in the Orlando area.

Our classic loaf is organic flour, water, and salt. That is it. No shortcuts. We ferment the old way so you get a crisp crust, an open crumb, and a real tang.

Thursday delivery to Oviedo and Winter Springs

Local delivery is on Thursday. Oviedo zips we cover are 32765 and 32766. Winter Springs zips are 32708 and 32719. You order on Hotplate: pick the Thursday delivery drop, place your order before the cutoff shown there, and Hotplate confirms your address.

What we bake for your table

Neighbors in Oviedo and Winter Springs usually start with our Signature Sourdough or the Sliced Classic if they want toast ready to go. The Multigrain carries a super 7 seed mix. For something more savory, try Olive, Garlic Parmesan, or Jalapeño Cheddar. Our Chocolate Espresso is a smaller 450 g loaf—bitter, sweet, and tangy.

We do not have a booth in Oviedo or Winter Springs themselves, but we bake overnight for weekend markets you can reach easily:

Our Longwood bakery is coming

Our first storefront is at 851 E SR 434, Suite 130, Longwood, FL 32750—a short drive from both Oviedo and Winter Springs. We are waiting on final permits and hope to open in mid-November 2026, Thursday to Sunday, 8 AM to 2 PM, with fresh sourdough, drip coffee, and a toast bar. A little about our family

I am from the Netherlands and left my executive chef job to bake full time. Catalina is from Colombia; she is a teacher with a degree in baking and pastry. Nathaniel was a finalist in the Department of Agriculture Student Chef competition. We chose organic flour because it is better food for everybody—and because Catalina has Hashimoto's, and organic flour is much better for her. We bake that same loaf for everyone.
