Sourdough Starter kit - Van Dough Jr.

This kit has everything you need to bake your first sourdough loaf at home. It comes with a jar of Van Dough Jr., our live sourdough starter from an Italian culture more than 1,000 years old. He ships wet and active, fed on organic wheat flour and water.

The kit includes:

• a jar of live Van Dough Jr. starter
• a banneton (a proofing basket)
• a baking mat
• a dough scraper
• a knife
• our printed care guide, which covers feeding, fridge and freezer storage, and troubleshooting

Shipping. We ship across Florida only. Order by Wednesday noon, and it ships Thursday and arrives Friday. Shipping is $8, or free on orders of $50 or more.

Starter ingredients: Active sourdough culture, organic wheat flour, water. Contains wheat.

Keeps 1–2 days at room temperature. To keep longer, slice and freeze. Toast slices straight from frozen.
